About Us:

We are a family run business, (not a booking agency) that cares for your dog in our own home. We are situated in the village of Staplehurst in Kent, with access to miles of country walks to explore, yet we are only 9 miles from the county town of Maidstone.

We have 3 small dogs of our own who are Scruffy, a Shih Tzu X, Alfie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Sparky, a Westie. They are all rescue chaps that we have re-homed over the past 10 years.

After spending 27 years as a retail manager Graham decided that enough was enough and that by doing something that he enjoyed rather than endured "Sleepy Paws" was created.

Being foster carers for Westie Rescue has also reinforced how rewarding looking after and caring for dogs can be. We have so far fostered 17 Westies in the last 2 years.

In the near future we will be working towards becoming certified dog trainers and behaviourists. So watch this space!
